Emelisse 15 year anniversary – Beer review
Emelisse is a brewery from Zeeland (The Netherlands) and they offer a wide range of specialty beers. It is a very special brewery since they offer unique flavour combinations and a characteristic taste experience. Therefore, we are super happy that we received a beer box from this brewery.
Brasserie de Poort – Leiden – Takeaway Review
Brasserie de Poort is a hidden gem located at the Zijlpoort, one of the last two remaining city gates of Leiden. Their menu is based on their motto: “It is all about you. We love to share.”
Embrasse – Dochter van de Korenaar – Beer review
The first beer that we tried was the De Dochter van de Korenaar Embrasse. This is an intens heavy dark beer with an alcoholpercentage of 9%. The beer contains tones of coffee, chocolate and subtropical fruits.
Restaurant Basaal – Takeaway
We went to the Hague fully equipped and shot some beautiful pictures. During our first takeaway session, we had some unique and special food from this international orientated restaurant.
Elfique – Tripel Brune
Recently, we received a beautiful beer box of brewery Elfique. We first drank the Elfique Tripel Brune which is a brown tripel with a complex taste. The beer was not very bitter and we certainly tasted tones of liquorice and prunes.
D’amici – Vleuten – Restaurant Review
When we were on our way home from our citytrip to Den Bosch, we decided to make a stop in Vleuten at D’Amici.
D’Amici is an Italian restaurant and pizzeria and they cook according to Italian traditions and hospitality.
De Dochter van de Korenaar L’ Ensemble di Montalcino
L’ Ensemble di Montalcino is a beautiful barley wine aged beer in Brunello di Montalcino barrels. This beer is brewed by the brewery De Dochter van de Korenaar which is situated in Belgium.
