Van der Valk Hotel Nuland – ‘s-Hertogenbosch
A 3-course dinner… Yes please! 🤩
During our stay at Van der Valk Nuland, we decided to order food from the special menu that the hotel had put together to celebrate Easter. Everything was brought up to our room per course, which made it feel like we were having dinner in a restaurant but then in our own hotel room. 🥰
First, we ordered the tomato soup and the beef tataki. The tomato soup tasted creamy and delicious and the beef tataki was very tender. We only would have preferred to receive a bowl for the soup, since the cardboard bowl gave the soup a little bit of an odd flavour. We never tried beef tataki before, but we were pleasantly surprised by its flavour. It tasted fresh, light and it was certainly tasteful! 😍
As our main course, we ordered the seabass and gamba and the pasta pesto. The pesto was homemade which gave the pasta a delicious flavour together with the Parmesan cheese. Also, the mushrooms, arugula and tomatoes matched perfectly with this dish.
The seabass and gamba were also very delicious together with the asparagus. The basil Beurre blanc gave the seabass a unique flavour. The prawns were so tasty that we would have loved to have some more. ❤
For dessert, we chose the fruit sorbet and the lemon meringue pie. The sorbet consisted of strawberry, mango, and vanilla ice cream and of course lots of fruit. The sorbet was huge and tasted amazing! The lemon meringue pie tasted fresh and fruity and was delicious as well. 🍨
We would certainly like to go for dinner at Van der Valk Nuland when the restaurant will be open again. But for now, we were very happy with the way they delivered the dinner to our room and we would absolutely like to recommend ordering dinner at this hotel. 😊

Bagels & Beans – Takeaway review

Recently, we decided to order two bagels at Bagels & Beans since we were really graving for some lunch. ☺❤
We hadn’t eaten at Bagels & Beans since last summer due to the pandemic. Therefore we were very happy that we were able to order through takeaway.
