The next beer that we tried from the Belgian brewery De Dochter van de Korenaar was the Charbon. We are a big fan of stouts so we were very excited to try this beer from this brewery.

De Dochter van de Korenaar Charbon is a classic dry stout with an alcoholpercentage of 7%. It has been brewed with smoked wheat malt and it is flavoured with fresh vanilla. The first sip of the beer tasted mild with some vanilla. After that, it became a strong stout with a taste that stays in your mouth for a while.
It wasn’t a very difficult stout to drink and it tasted absolutely delicious! This beer is certainly one of the best stouts that we have drank before and the smoky smell definitely appealed to us.
Therefore, we rate this beer a 5/5.
