The Zaailander Boekweit Blond (5%) is a beer brewed by hotel In de Brouwerij. This beer has been brewed according to an old recipes from the time that oats and buckwheat were characteristic ingredients in Dutch beer.
Elfique Triple Blonde is the third beer that we drank from our beer box from this brewery. It is was certainly a blond beer character!
The next beer that we tried from the Belgian brewery De Dochter van de Korenaar was the Charbon. We are a big fan of stouts so we were very excited to try this beer from this brewery.
The Elfique IPA is a fresh and bitter beer with a fruity taste. It has an alcoholpercentage of 6% and it has a beautiful foamy head which stayed on the beer for a long time.
Sans Pardon is a beer without excuses. This beer is a Russian Imperial Stout from brewery de Dochter van de Korenaar. It is a beer with quite a high alcoholpercentage of 11% and it has a pitch black colour.
Pareltje aan de Vliet is another gem of brewery Cavé with an alcoholpercentage of 5,3%. This beer is named after the nickname of the village Voorschoten which is ‘Parel aan de Vliet’.
Wheat Weet Mag Het zeggen is an English Wheat Wine brewed with wheat, sage and daisies. It is quite a powerful beer with a rich flavour due to the use of wheat malt. Also, the beer is slightly bitter with a floral aroma and a minty aftertaste.
