The next beer that we tried from the Belgian brewery De Dochter van de Korenaar was the Charbon. We are a big fan of stouts so we were very excited to try this beer from this brewery.
The first beer that we tried was the De Dochter van de Korenaar Embrasse. This is an intens heavy dark beer with an alcoholpercentage of 9%. The beer contains tones of coffee, chocolate and subtropical fruits.
Recently, we received a beautiful beer box of brewery Elfique. We first drank the Elfique Tripel Brune which is a brown tripel with a complex taste. The beer was not very bitter and we certainly tasted tones of liquorice and prunes.
L’ Ensemble di Montalcino is a beautiful barley wine aged beer in Brunello di Montalcino barrels. This beer is brewed by the brewery De Dochter van de Korenaar which is situated in Belgium.

Another masterpiece of brewery Cavé, which is a local brewery in Voorschoten, is ‘Onder de Linde’. This beer is named after the oldest part of Voorschoten, the Voorstraat, where the market and the horsemarket have been held under the Linde trees for hundreds of years.
A powerful tripel with a fresh taste and a citrusy character. These are the characteristics from the beer: ‘Paapje Tripel’ from brewery Cavé.
