<p class="has-text-align-center">Annie&#8217;s is a unique restaurant located in the city centre of Leiden. If you have ever visited Leiden, you will know that the city has a lot of beautiful canals. Annie&#8217;s is located on one of them and it has a wonderfull terras and  cozy inside seating areas.  Everyone knows Annie&#8217;s and that&#8217;s for a reason. The quality of the food, service and the unique location make Annie&#8217;s a &#8220;must visit&#8221; in Leiden! You can&#8217;t say you have visited Leiden if you haven&#8217;t been to Annie&#8217;s. </p>



<p class="has-text-align-center">We visited the restaurant in the afternoon to grab some lunch. We started off with a nice cappuccino and a cup of mint tea. As our main course we ordered a goat cheese sandwich and carpaccio. The goat cheese sandwich was incredibly good. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/72x72/2764.png" alt="❤" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> This course contains 2 big slices of creamy goat cheese, honey, a brown bun and some veggies. After my girlfriend finished her course, she almost ordered another one . My carpaccio was also very good. It was quite a large portion with some brown bread and parmesan cheese. It was one of the best I&#8217;ve ever had! The service was also very good. The food was served on time and the staff were all very polite to us.</p>
