On our last evening in Maastricht we visited JEF Gastrobar. JEF Gastrobar is a beautiful restaurant in the Rechtstraat with a modern and luxurious interior. They serve amazing food and incredible wines and the atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and cozy.
Sans Pardon is a beer without excuses. This beer is a Russian Imperial Stout from brewery de Dochter van de Korenaar. It is a beer with quite a high alcoholpercentage of 11% and it has a pitch black colour.

The Blackberry Sour is a beautiful limited edition beer from brewery Jopen. This beer has matured for 548 days in different Bourbon barrels and it has a wonderful purple glow.

After a day of shopping we decided to take a break at the Bagels & Beans in Leiden. This restaurant mainly focusses on bagels (of course) and coffee.
The name ‘De Verloren Zoon’ refers to the Bible story of the prodigal son and thus to the home of Jopen: the Jopenkerk Haarlem. Jopen celebrates the return of the ‘Verloren Zoon’ because he has been found again. ‘De Verloren Zoon’ hid in whiskey barrels.
Annie’s Leiden is one of our favourite restaurants in Leiden and since we could not get enough of this restaurant, we decided to write a second review about it. We had a beautiful spot on the terrace where we could see all the boats passing by on the canals which was absolutely wonderful. ❤

Wheat Weet Mag Het zeggen is an English Wheat Wine brewed with wheat, sage and daisies. It is quite a powerful beer with a rich flavour due to the use of wheat malt. Also, the beer is slightly bitter with a floral aroma and a minty aftertaste.
Restaurant Karalis is a local family restaurant in the city centre of Leiden. This restaurants serves authentic Italian dishes with a strong accent to the island of Sardenia. The restaurants only uses products imported from Italy and they try to make everything theirselves as much as possible.
