During our citytrip to Maastricht and Valkenburg last July, we stayed in Hotel Schaepkens van St. Fijt<\/a> in Valkenburg. \"\u2764\"
Upon arrival we were a little bit to early to check-in and therefore we received a drink voucher to get something at the bar.
When we checked at the reception if our room was ready, we were asked to check if the room was cleaned ourselves which we thought was weird. \"\ud83e\udd14\"
But since we were very tired, we went to the room to check if it was clean and hereafter we went back to the reception to tell them that it was clean.<\/p>

We were quite disappointed about the room since it was very outdated and hot and it there wasn’t any fan or airconditioning. \"\ud83d\ude05\" We also had separate blankets, the room smelled odd and the shower worked very badly. \"\ud83d\udc4e\"We booked the Superior room and we had expected a lot more than this. The only positive thing about the room was that it had a beautiful view and that the bed was good.<\/p>

Furthermore, the breakfast the next day was a disaster. We visited it during the pandemic and it was like COVID-19 didn’t even exist here. Everybody was walking around and touching all the amenities on the buffet and it look very dirty as well. There were no walking routes or markings on the floor and
social distancing wasn’t a thing. We were absolutely shocked. \"\ud83d\ude30\"<\/p>

Luckily we only stayed here for one (overpriced) night and we never experienced such a bad service and hotel before. Normally, we always try to see the positive in every situation but this left us no choice than to write a bad review. \"\ud83d\ude01\"<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
