This Brut IPA is brewed with Monk Beer from Schnitzelburg, Louisville. The story goes that the Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon played an important role in the development of champagne. So, let’s blame it on the Monks!
Brut is a actually a very dry champagne. Therefore, this IPA is quite dry just like a Brut, but it also has a lot of fruity hops. The beer has a very refreshing taste due to flavour of white grapes. This makes it an excellent beer to drink in the summer. The beer also has an alcoholpercentage of 7,5%.
We truly loved the refreshing taste of this beer. The unique combination of a dry but fruity beer is something we would recommend! Since we absolutely enjoyed this beer, we rate it a 4/5.
